Babies are a real joy to photograph. I work around these little one's schedule. Sometimes when they arrive at the studio, they are sleeping. Well, by all means, don't wake them up! I photograph them just as they are. Sleeping babies are beautiful to behold. I will always try to capture that part of their lives. It last so short, then they've changed. If baby does awake, great! I photograph him/her again. "What if my baby cries?" No problem. I allow enough time to cover the unexpected. Let's not make these precious souls into something they are not. I like to keep things as simple and lovely and natural as babies are.
